Alexey Pindyurin was trained as a geneticist at the Novosibirsk State University (Novosibirsk, Russia) and the University of Geneva. For several years, Alexey headed a laboratory at the Institute of Molecular and Cellular Biology (Novosibirsk), where he studied different aspects of gene regulation. Alexey joined Annogen in 2022.
